My First Ebike

My first road test on my first ebike and I am already loving it.

A surprisingly zippy commuter in DC

I wanted something that was low profile and this bike definitely fits the stealth bill while still having the ability to get up to 28 which...feels really fast when it's your first hybrid bike, ha! I'm only a week or so in and just received my fenders, rear rack, and the phone mount. All the accessories feel really nice so far. You have to remove the rear tire to get the rack/fender on properly which is kind of a bummer but it ended up being quite easy. There's a disconnect for the motor and there are some custom nuts that help the assembly slide into the frame correctly. I haven't went on too many long trips with the bike yet--just commuting to and from spots within the city center. The battery has held up well on a few ~5-8 mile commutes, in full boost mode ripping at 28mph, consuming only about 15-20% of the juice. The Eco mode really conserves battery. The build of the bike feels great. I do have an annoying creak coming from somewhere that i've yet to diagnose but it's nothing serious. Friends who've seen the bike said it's a looker too. the Sand color looks great (give us a stealth black next time)! I installed the redshift led pedals which are fantastic and bought the redshift shockstop suspension seatpost but was bummed that there isn't an option to re-route the integrated taillight as it's wiring runs through the hollow seatpost (shockstop is solid). Coming from a light Trek Soho S allll the way from 2009, the T1 is, believe it or not, a rougher ride so I'm debating losing the integrated tail light for that suspension seat. The seat that comes with the T1 albeit comfy, is too casual for me; I think i've gotten used to a more sporty seat which i'll be switching to regardless. All in all, I'm incredibly happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be buying another Velotric in the future if I get more into the trails (that Nomad 2 looks like it's no joke). Overall a great bike

I just can’t give it a five star because we received a faulty battery charger, but I must say that we received the replacement charger around a week after bike purchase , customer service was awesome, we bought this bike after a few weeks searching the market.we must say that the bike outperformed our expectations ,we could go up to 50 miles with a single charge,20% of those miles were hills(average speed was 13 miles per hour).we can’t be more happy with this bike .we absolutely recommend. I haven’t weighed out, but looks little more heavy than advertised. The seat was not that comfortable for 50 miles ride so we decided to put an other one.
