My Velotric Discovery 1*

I love my Discovery 1 e-bike!! It is so comfortable to ride and very easy to adjust the seat too. It’s a lot of Fun!! I can finally keep up with my grandson on his bike! Also pretty easy to put together with the video on YouTube!

Very pleased with my purchase. Everything works well and it is easy to ride. The seat post was scratched but Velotric quickly sent me a new one.

An avid e-bike rider gets hubby hooked!

My husband and I usually ride our bikes on the weekend along NJ and PA canal towpaths, with me riding an Aventon bought 4 years ago and he behind me on his sturdy hybrid mountain bike. He's fit and in shape but always a little envious that I have a smooth ride, both cycling hard or relaxing when I tire. We finally took the plunge and visited our local e-bike shop in Washington Crossing, PA. The owners of Voltage Bikes, Mary and Chris were so easy to work with and answered every question we had about the Velotric and Aventon bikes in the shop. There've been so many tech changes and improvements to e-bikes since I last bought my Aventon PACE. Well we test rode both the Velotric Breeze and the Velotric Discover 1 Plus. We both loved the easy of riding the Discover Plus 1. So we bought 2! The hardest part of the transaction was choosing the colors! My 4 year old Aventon PACE will be available for friends and family when they visit. Chris brought our bikes to us the next day and we jumped on asap, zipping around the neighborhood like kids. Now we're looking forward to packing a picnic lunch and exploring new bike trails nearby! Hooray!

Great E-Bike for a senior…

At almost 72 years old and wanting to be able to continue spending time outdoors with my wife, I decided to upgrade from my our mountain bikes to e-bikes for the two of us. I spent many months visiting bike stores, reading many articles and reviews, and watching lots of YouTube videos in trying to make a decision about what to purchase. Many factors, including style, features, comfort, price, and construction were considered. Ultimately, I decided on the Velotric Discover 1 Plus for both myself and my wife. I ordered the bikes directly from Velotric and with the help of a good friend we were able to assemble both bikes in about 3 hours — 2 hours for the first bike, and only 1 hour for the second bike once we knew the steps to follow. The unboxing and assembly went well and was fairly straightforward. I had to purchase a new hitch-mounted bike rack capable of handling the weight of both of these bikes (about 65 pounds each) and opted for a rack that included ramps that I could wheel the e-bikes up and down the rack thereby eliminating the concern I had about lifting g the bikes onto a bike rack. The Discover 1 Plus has a “walk mode” that utilizes the bike’s motor to assist me in wheeling the bikes up the ramp easily. We have now taken 2 rides of about 12 miles each and really enjoyed our time in doing so and the e-bikes performed very well. The Discover 1 Plus utilizes a “cadence sensor” rather than a “torque sensor” for the various motor assist modes. I think I might have preferred the “torque sensor” but was not willing to spend the another $600-$700 more for ability to switch between the two types of sensors (as is included in the Discover 2 model). With the sale price and additional discount for signing up with VELOTRIC, I paid $2300 ($1149 each) for both bikes and it had free shipping as an added bonus.

Been researching awhile now for Ebikes

My wife and I have Been researching awhile now for Ebikes and I've kept my eye on these for the last 2 years and never really pulled the trigger buying one but I had some horrible back problems within the last year and wanted to get back to riding but with assist that these eBikes bring. Great power and quality.

Bought two of these after renting a couple on vacation. Ive already put almost 400 miles on it. So solid, this bike is so well-made. Price is right! Happy happy customers here in ATX! All my friends come ride it once, then order one!

2000 miles

Second review of my bike, just turned over 2000 miles which have been trouble free on my discovery. Have rode it in the mountains and on the plains of Texas and it has provided hours of enjoyment. Picture shows when it turned over 2000 miles
