Velotric T1 Ebike

Very Happy with T1 for the most part.

I'm very happy with the T1's appearance and paint. I really wanted a light weight E-bike so a full suspension bike was not an option. This bike only ways 36lb. The suspension seat post would make this much more comfortable which was offered to me at a discount when I purchased the bike. ( I shoulda took the deal...rats)I'm a pretty full sized rider (6'1" 250lb). Make sure the phone you run the app on has adequate charge when you go for a ride. I did not and the battery on the cell phone died, I was about 8 miles away from home and the bike auto locked when I went into a gas station for a bottled water. I was unable to unlock it since I was careless about the iphone battery status ( my fault completely) and had to drive it back with no assist and no headlight. (lesson learned) Thankfully this bike is light enough to easily drive it with no assist. I was more ticked about not having a headlight. the tail light is powered separately so no problem there. This is the quietest hub motor I've ever heard (or not heard actually) even on full power! No wining. The way Velotric implemented the torque sensor is amazing! It delivers just the right amount of power as you need. Its based on the effort you pedal with. Its so much better than a cadence sensor. The only issue I have is I can't keep up with my Sunday riding group who ride expensive non-assisted road bikes. They normally cruise at about 22mph. I did perform the 25mph unlock, but I ghost pedal at speeds over 20 mph due to the small front 40T chain ring. at 22mph I feel like I'm pedaling at 120rpm, I noticed the new Velotric T1 ST Plus now includes a 46T Chain ring. I wish that option was available for this bike and it would have been 10 out of 10! I was told by customer service I would probably void the warranty if I changed the chain ring to a larger one, so I guess I'm stuck with ghost pedaling at high speeds. Love the Tech and Adaptive Torque Control

We have taken many trips from 15 - 30 miles on the Velotric T1's. We have used the T1's both locally and on multiple boat trips to Cape Cod and the Islands here in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The T1's have opened up a whole new world of adventure and travel. They look fantastic with all the Tech and Cables hidden for a nice clean appearance. And at 36 pounds, they are not heavy at all.

Lightweight, fast and a fun to ride honestly

It’s winter, so haven’t taken it out for a ride yet. But, can already tell that it is a huge upgrade from my RAD Rover(which I can ride in winter, so I’ll keep it too) that I paid the same price for. Very simple assembly! Nice fit…perfect for my preferences! Outstanding features at this price point! Only one complaint. The location of the two mounts on the seat stays are in the wrong place…they should be on the side, not the top. There’s not a single product, V or aftermarket, that can utilize that location without custom rigging. I have a trunk rack with rack specific panniers and top bag(quick release) that could not be replaced by V products and I could not mount it utilizing existing seat stay mounts. I have used this same rack on 4 different bikes, 1 other e-bike and 2 non-e-bikes…no issues. I have never seen those two mounts on top of the seat stays. I contacted support to see if there was an adapter…they didn’t read the whole question and merely recommended the V T1 rack which does not satisfy my needs. After a couple “back and forths”, I gave up and dove down the rabbit hole of trying to find the solution. I found one…a bracket that mounts to the center hole of whole seat stay(where the V rack mounts) that provides the two side mounts required for most decent racks. Frustrated at first…but problem solved and I’m sure I will be very happy with the T1 and how I set it up. Photo shows existing useless mounts just below the solution bracket installed for my preferred rack. Thank You!

Perfect for assisted exercise.

Great lightweight bike. Looked at the ST, thought it was more economical, but chose the T1 simply because I loved the crystal black color. Not too crazy about the color options on the ST. However, after my purchase, really appreciating the extra tech. My only negative is the fact that there is no chain guard on the front sprocket. Wish it was available as on option. Otherwise...GREAT BIKE!!!!

A true fitness e-bike

This is a fantastic lightweight e-bike that's perfect for the fitness enthusiast who loves to cycle. I find myself not even needing the e-assist when I'm using the bike to work out because it's pretty fast without it, but this bike is sooo much fun when it is on! This thing has some serious speed to it and I love that it doesn't even look like an electric bike when I have to leave it locked up on the street. Only thing I would suggest is investing in a more comfortable seat - the one it comes with is good, but I personally needed something with a little more padding. Other than that, this bike is a 10 out of 10!

First E-Bike!

After my bike got stolen, was researching a replacement and the T1 was the one! It’s an awesome bike to own! Wanted a stealth bike, that had all the boxes checked off on. I love it!
