Impressive Power and Improved Suspension

#Test User (Early Buyer) The battery connections seem to be beefed up. The front suspension is noticeable right away. I like the color. Climbing a very steep hill at our state park was impressive—great power. The suspension fork is much improved, and I can stay in the seat on aggressive bumps.

What a great bike!

This is my first e-bike and I couldn't be happier. It fits my larger frame just perfect! Even with my size I am able to get roughly 45 miles per charge and that is while have some fun here and there on the class 3 setting. I love everything about this bike! Let the weight loss journey begin!

A Beast

I went a little crazy and have 4 different Velotric bikes. Discover 1+, Discover 2, Go1, and now Nomad 2 . I think all are great and worth the price. Definitely different rides. Nomad 2 is a big bike and super comfortable cruise. Discover 2 is also super comfortable and much more appropriate for older adults and women generally speaking. Go 1 and Discover 1+ are great and more affordable but lack the bigger color screens , Bluetooth connectivity, have cadence only and smaller 500 watt motors. Still very powerful as I broke 2 ribs this March 3 on Discover 1+. Takeoff was too fast with steering wheel not straight forward. My bad. Motor kicked in and I was down immediately. Be careful. These are not toys. All are very powerful, well made, and super fun. Nomad 2 is next level great. I have done previous reviews and just love Velotric bikes.

Well made. Easy assembly. Ride is very comfortable and fast. I only would like a larger battery. Although I am very happy with the bike.

Beautiful Design

#Test User (Early Buyer) I love the color—it’s so beautiful! The bike has a rugged yet sleek and modern look. The new display is great, and I really appreciate the integrated blinkers and brake lights. The color is amazing, the tires are beefy, and it’s definitely a flashy bike. I also love the SensorSwap feature—having the option to switch between cadence and torque is fantastic. I do wish it was easier to switch while riding, though. I found it much easier to use the app for this compared to using the menu button on the bike.

Time travel is possible

I love my new nomad 2. Struggled with previous manual fat tire bike. Even modest inclines left me wiped and the thought of doing a 10 mile trail just was unthinkable. Fast forward to today and I just can't get enough ride time in. The bike is super comfortable and time flies, really brings me back to the days of my youth and endless summer days. So you don't need a DeLorean just a Nomad 2 to take you back in time. Thanks for the future memories.

Comfort, Control, and Fun—The N2 Redefines My Ride!

#Test User (Early Buyer) The ride quality is great! The suspension fork on the N2 is a big improvement over the N1, and the seat post suspension and seat are also much better. On my daily commute, there are sections of rough and bumpy road. On the N1, I had to stand on the pedals, but with the N2, I can stay seated, making the ride much more comfortable. Riding off-road with my dogs has been a blast, and the same goes for riding with my wife. The torque sensor is PERFECT for these rides, allowing me to precisely match the pace of my riding companions, be they on 4 legs or 2 wheels, while offering a very natural and smooth riding experience

#Test User (Early Buyer) When I saw the bike for the first time, all I could say was "Wow!" I was so excited and anxious to get riding. On a ride with my son, we stopped to swap bikes when a man on a homemade electric bike rode by and stopped to ask about the Nomad. He didn’t speak English, so he called his girlfriend to translate for him. He expressed regret about spending $1,000 on his bike and was really impressed with the Nomad. It was great to show him what he could have instead!

A Game Changer for Hilly Rides

I love my Velotric Nomad 2 Fat Tire Ebike. I got it to help me get more exercise outside. I’ve always enjoyed biking, but after moving to a hilly area, the steep slopes made it tough to keep up the habit. After watching a bunch of reviews online, I landed on the Nomad 2—and I’m glad I did. It makes climbing hills way easier, and now I ride every day. My only gripe is that I wish the battery lasted a bit longer, but overall, I’d absolutely choose this bike again.
